Quantitative and Volumetric Surveying

We offer accurate aerial surveying to our clients, which is shot using Total Station surveying equipment. Combining this data with Ground Control Points and GPS referenced aerial data, we can provide you with a high resolution aerial orthomosiac map, with quantitative land surveying that’s accurate down to the nearest centimetre. Unlike many other surveying companies, incorporating drones into land surveying increases efficiency dramatically, saving you money. Volume measurement with a drone is an extremely fast, accurate and cost-effective method to analyse volumes on your site. Our user tests have found that when following best practices, volume measurements are accurate within 1-2% of traditional ground-based laser measurements.

We Can Assist You With:

  • Total Station Ground Surveying
  • Aerial Surveying With Orthomosiac Mapping
  • Ground Control Point Aerial Surveying
  • Aerial Volumetric and Stockpile Surveying

What is Total Station Surveying?

A total station is a modern surveying instrument that integrates an electronic theodolite with an electronic distance meter. Total Stations use electronic transit theodolites in conjunction with a distance meter to read any slope distance from the instrument to any particular spot. They are hence two essential surveying instruments in one and when used with other technology such as mapping software and drones,  are able to deliver the full surveying package, from measurement to mapping.
